Sunday Morning Bible Study
Please join us for Adult Bible Classes at 9:30 AM on Sundays between services. Coffee, snacks and fellowship are always plentiful.
*Update September 2017*
- Starting September 17th - Bible Study on the Augsburg Confession. What does it mean to be Lutheran? Here is what Lutherans believe, teach and confess. In the year 1530, the Lutherans were required to present their confession of faith before the emperor in Augsburg, Germany. Philip Melanchthon wrote the Augsburg Confession and it was read before the imperial court on June 30, 1530. The largest document in the Book of Concord, its longest chapter is devoted to the most important truth of the Christian faith: the doctrine of Justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
- Beginning September 24th - Summary of the Christian Doctrine. A Summary of Christian Doctrine Class will begin September 24th. This class will be held on Sunday mornings during the Bible Class hour in the multi-purpose room. If you would like to become a member of Zion or if you just want a refresher course on what we believe, you are more than welcome to attend.
